THE STORY

There was a time when professional beach volleyball had the world by a g-string. Propelling it were bikini contests and bronzed bad boys who epitomized this Southern Californian, hedonistic lifestyle swiftly turned sport, a sport that most found difficult to take seriously. Then, like a rocket without fuel, it suddenly fell off the radar. Most ‘fads’ do. Dusting itself off took some time. Now grown and a bit wiser, professional beach volleyball has evolved into an internationally recognized sport whose destiny lies in the most ironic of hands.

Despite having grown up in the San Fernando Valley, Erik Anderson’s family took every opportunity to get to the beach as the photographs below will attest to. It’s even rumored that he was conceived there. All joking aside, Erik has been working in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. His production company, Chocolate Bunny Productions, has collaborated with many domestic and international companies in a variety of media including commercials, television and feature films.
